ImpacTech Program

Program

ImpacTech is an Exclusive 4 Months Program for Start-ups that Use Technology to Tackle Social Issues

The acceleration process will start by defining each team’s goals and milestones. These objectives will be translated into key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be monitored on a regular basis during the program. Once the personalized plan is set out, each team will be assigned a personal mentor that will lead them and answer their exact needs throughout the program.
Start-ups will be supported by experienced entrepreneurs and executives in the industry. Our program provides multiple opportunities to build relationships with leading investors and venture funds. We will partner with leading start-up experts and companies to offer our entrepreneurs workshops and that will help accelerate the startup’s development. We will partner with local businesses that will offer our startups different business benefits throughout the program. ImpacTech will hold various networking events and meet-ups focused on exposing our startups to students, investors, corporates and other potential stake-holders.

We believe that Social Mission Can  (and should), Go Along with Profit
Personalization

As start-ups may differ one from another, the acceleration process will start by defining each team’s goals and milestones. These objectives will be translated into key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be monitored on a regular basis during the program. Once the personalized plan is set out, each team will be assigned a personal mentor that will lead them and answer their exact needs throughout the program.

Building Profitable Social Tech Start-ups

A business should try to solve massive social problems. Why? Because when business solves a problem, it makes a profit, which enables the solution to grow exponentially and scale. How to manage them both? That’s why we’re here. Our objective is to grow businesses that Do Well by Doing Good.

Powerful Mentoring
Start-ups will be supported by experienced entrepreneurs and executives from the industry. This process will enable the company (the start-up) to set clear objectives, receive continuous feedback and address the issues that matter most to the company’s needs.
Mentoring, or one-on-one coaching, is frequently cited by entrepreneurs as the most valuable resource provided by an accelerator and incubator, and one that they could not receive elsewhere. A significant portion of the mentors time would be spent by providing consulting advice on a ‘one-on-one’ basis for each startup. Assistance may include revising business plans, creating product development plans, reviewing marketing materials, understanding financing options and other assistance.
Typically, coaching involves weekly meetings between the company’s (start-up) CEO and the mentor.
Meeting Leading Investors

Our program provides multiple opportunities to build relationships with leading investors and venture funds. The startups will engage in special sessions with investors and VC’s, meetings with influential and leading companies, participate in networking events and attend the final “Demo Day” when the startup will be presented to various stake holders.

Special WorkShops

We will partner with leading start-up experts and companies to offer our entrepreneurs workshops that will help accelerate the start-up’s development.

Fun & Empowering Atmosphere

Connect the start-ups with leading companies, emerging start-ups and potential customers that are specifically relevant to their venture, helping the product/service get traction.

Community Events

One of our main goals is to expand the social-tech community. Throughout the program, ImpacTech will hold various networking events and meet-ups, focused on exposing the start-ups to students, investors, corporates and other potential stake-holders.

Double Bottom Line

How to look beyond either the balance sheet or the bottom line, and make a successful business by adding value, purpose and sustainability. This is the way to run a 21st century business responsibly.

Office Space

Office space which is designed and structured to create collaboration atmosphere will be provided. We strive for our co-working space to become the home of the social tech eco-system.

Funding
Capital is often the resource perceived by entrepreneurs as the most limited in supply. For ImpacTech, financing assistance is an important component in supporting the startups. Assistance with financing and funding is a two step process. First, the companies need preparation for securing financing or raising investment capital. Secondly, the ImpacTech staff needs to connect them with sources of capital according to the nature of the company (start-up) and their financial needs.
The first step, preparation, requires that ImpacTech staff work with the company to prepare the necessary materials that would be provided to the investor/VC. Typically, they include a complete business plan and financial statements, presentation and investor deck, ‘go to market’ strategy and social impact KPI’s.
The second step is developing a network of contacts with financing and funding sources. ImpacTech will utilize their existing and ongoing growing relationships with local and international VCs, Angeles, Government funds, and other resources within the business and social communities.
Once ImpacTech team is comfortable that the startup is well prepared to approach a funding source, he or she would make an introduction to the appropriate contact(s) in the network. Providing good quality referrals. Each program will end with a ‘demo-day’ in which graduating start-ups will pitch to selected investors.
